Located in the heart of the Florence, Lucca and Pisa historic and artistic triangle lies the enchanting Resort of Tenute di Badia.
It is surrounded by a magical green and quiet landscape of tall and ancient trees. The Magnolias, the Pines, the Silver Firs, the Oaks, the Laurels, the old Cypresses, the Pomegranates and the Giant Sequoias are the evidence of the centuries-old story of this place.
Tenute di Badia was once the ancient and religious site belonging to the Monks of St. Peter in Pozzeveri Abbey. Today it wants to be the place where you can discover the still alive usage and custom of the Lucchese tradition. |

The Badia's Rooms preserve the old and most characteristic aspects of Tuscan rural architecture: the typical terracotta pavements, the wooden beams of the ceilings, the fireplaces, the doors, the rural furniture and the stone stairs. The Rooms in the Farmer's House are very large and furnished in Tuscan country style. From the big windows you can have a good view on the landscape of the estate.
Outdoors our Guests can find the Barbecue area, the Swimming-Pool with the Solarium, the little Pine-Wood, the Giant Sequoia-Wood, where you go walking and the Playing Area for children and adults.
